The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regulates roadway and vehicle safety by establishing safety standards and investigating safety risk claims. Honda collaborates with the NHTSA to investigate excessive risk claims involving Honda models. Safety recalls involve services to correct enhanced risks found. Although the risk standard is low regarding individual occurrence probability, Honda recommends that involved owners schedule recall services as soon as possible to eliminate it.

Service Campaign Recalls

Honda is a leading automaker because they consistently engineer reliable, efficient, and long-lasting vehicles. Honda will use service campaigns to improve upon any performance-related malfunctions or shortcomings. Although service campaigns involve non-safety issues, Honda recommends getting the campaign service scheduled as soon as possible to ensure the best ownership experience.

The Honda Recall Lookup Tool is a quick and convenient way to check for model-specific recalls. Simply submit the vehicle identification number (VIN) or the year and model. We also welcome calls during normal hours if you want to speak with a knowledgeable service advisor to check if your model needs a recall service.
